As we prepare for fall 2025 it's vitally important accurate addresses are on file with the district for all students. This is especially true this summer as the district prepares to offer bus service to most elementary students for the first time. Unfortunately, much of the mail being sent by the district is being returned due to inaccurate address information, and we need your help to change that. Statement regarding today's Board of Education meeting livestream

Earlier today, the Poughkeepsie City School District experienced an incident in which an outside entity briefly took control of the livestream of the Board of Education’s special meeting and pornographic material was displayed on screen.
We apologize for the content that was transmitted through our platform. The livestream was promptly disconnected and removed from our Zoom and YouTube pages.
The district is investigating the incident, working with its network experts and contacting the necessary authorities, to determine how it occurred and its extent.
We will provide an update on the incident when one is available.
